DESIGN AND PRINT

Description

The design and print service contract for London Borough of Waltham Forest ensures that the Council can access the best print prices available in an ever changing and extremely competitive marketplace but also helps to facilitate a reduction in overall spend and the Council’s channel shift to cheaper communications channels. The design and print service contract is managed by Corporate Communications Service on behalf of the Council. The services are made accessible to all team across the directorates. A procured provider offers a streamlined process, brand management, consistent quality, and cost efficiency The contract provides design services from high end concept design to basic art-working. This is achieved by working with both the corporate communications team and officers within directorates who self-serve for art-working and print requirements. The current contract is provided in two lots, and this is required in the new contract: • Lot 1: Design and print – This consist of art working, design, concept work and print services. • Lot 2: Reprographic. The Repro lot is for print documents which require short turnaround delivery (such as any legal documents), with the expectation of delivery within two hours.
