Description

A new system shall be procured (1) for sorting, curing and corking blood tubes for the Department of Medical Genetics at Oslo University Hospital (OUS). The system must handle decoration of blood tubes with both a "plug cap" and "screw cap". The blood pipes will be in both 3/4 mL, 6 mL and 9/10 mL format, with the dimensions respectively. 13x75mm, 13x100mm and 16x100mm. The department usually receives tubes of type BD Vacutainer and Greiner Vacuette. The system must also be able to read barcodes on the side of the pipes. The procurement will also include instrument dependent consumables, options on equipment for other departments/functions at the Clinic for Laboratory Medicine, options on service courses and options on service and maintenance agreements for as long as the equipment is in use.
