DMCV 022 - Shropshire Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Service

Description

Shropshire Council is seeking to commission a specialist Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Support Service for victim-survivors of domestic abuse and their children. The service will support the Council's duties under Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 by providing safe accommodation and specialist support that promotes safety, recovery, stability and sustainable housing outcomes. The service will deliver a flexible range of accommodation options, including refuge, dispersed accommodation, Sanctuary Scheme provision and emergency accommodation, alongside specialist domestic abuse support, advocacy, risk management, children’s support and move-on planning. Delivery must be trauma-informed, inclusive and responsive to the needs of Shropshire’s rural communities. The contract will be for an initial period of five years commencing on the 1st April 2027 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years, all terms are subject to funding and performance requirements.
