Description
Renfrewshire Council/Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (RHSCP) are seeking a Provider to deliver a community based mental health service for adults aged over 16 in Renfrewshire experiencing stress and distress in their mental health. This will include the three following components to support and manage their current episode of stress and distress and provide the tools to prevent and manage future episodes: 1. Distress Brief Intervention (DBI) Services Level 2 2. Counselling and Therapeutic Support 3. Group-Based Support and Wellbeing Activities The outcomes the Council/RHSCP wish to see evidenced for people supported via this Service are as follows: - Improvement in mental health and emotional wellbeing; - Increased resilience, confidence, and self-management skills; - Reduction in social isolation and loneliness; - Strengthened social support networks and community connectedness; - Enablement of individuals to achieve personal recovery goals and improve quality of life; - Promotion of early intervention and prevention, reducing the need for more intensive statutory and specialist mental health services; - Supporting people to maintain independence and participate fully in their communities.
