Description
The city of Haan operates a Lenovo Flex Chassis with 4 servers. Three of these are virtualisation hosts and one is a backup server. An IBM V7000 with 30 TB is used as SAN storage for the virtualisation hosts. This is connected to the server environment with 2 SAN switches via fibre channel. VMware ESX is used as the virtualisation platform. The server and storage landscape is to be modernised. The virtualisation platform ESX is to be replaced by the open source platform Proxmox VE.
