733 - Supply and Fitting of Hydraulic and other Vehicle Hoses

Description

Maintenance and repair of most vehicles is undertaken within the Council through dedicated managed workshops operated by Fleet Services and CEGS. The requirement for this contract is to support this operation through the replacement of vehicle hoses. Whilst the contract is primarily for hydraulic hoses and pipes, the Contractor could be called on to replace pipes on differing applications carrying different fluids. This includes, but is not limited to, power steering fluid, engine oil, gearbox oil, and air pipes. This work may be required at the roadside, or at any depot operated by Leeds City Council. The Contractor may request details of depots operated by Leeds City Council at any stage. Occasionally, the Contract may be required to work on vehicle not belonging to Leeds City Council. This includes vehicles used by schools, universities and hire companies.
