Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking suppliers to join the Unite Procurement Platform to support the Supply of Defence Specialist Equipment The procurement covers; 1. Crimping Tools A specialist handheld crimping tool for use in EOD, demolition, and military engineering roles. The tool is a multi-function device designed for use with Initiated Set Field Engineering (ISFE) components, flash detonators, safety fuze, and detonator cord. Key capabilities include: • Crimping of ISFE and flash detonators to safety fuze or detonator cord • Integrated firing cable cutting capability • Integrated firing cable stripping capability • Screwdriver functionality incorporated into the tool design • Rectifier functionality incorporated into the tool design • Robust, portable, and suitable for operational field use in austere environments 2. Injector Stands A specialist injector stands for use with in-service EOD disruptor systems. The stand is designed to support rapid deployment and stable operation of disruptors in the field. Key Functional Requirements: • Compatible with all current UK in-service disruptor systems (Note: the Needle disruptor is specifically excluded from compatibility requirements) • Provides stable and adjustable support for disruptor positioning during EOD operations • Suitable for use across varied terrain and operational environments The Unite Procurement Platform (Unite | Simplify indirect procurement with our smarter platform) offers a compliant route to market for UK Public Sector organisations to manage low-value, high-volume procurement. Further information on the onboarding process for the Unite Procurement Platform will be provided upon expression of interest and can also be found at the link attached. Unite Procurement UK Limited does not intend to appoint a sole supplier for this requirement. Instead, multiple suppliers may be onboarded to the Unite Procurement Platform to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base, supporting flexibility and choice for the Ministry of Defence and associated organisations. Suppliers are encouraged to express their interest by the stated closing date to ensure early consideration. However, applications to join the Unite Procurement Platform will be welcome at any time beyond the initial deadline. Unite Procurement UK Limited reserves the right to review and onboard new suppliers on a rolling basis to meet evolving requirements and to maintain a dynamic and responsive supplier network.
