Description

The town of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés covers an area of 1,126 hectares, with 186 kilometres of roads, 372 kilometres of pavements – 90 km of which are grassed – and 12 km of the Marne riverbank. Nearly 20,000 trees are recorded within the municipality, making it unique in that over 70 per cent of its roads are lined with trees. The town also owns a stadium in Sucy-en-Brie. The town’s technical services are responsible for collecting leaves and miscellaneous waste, as well as maintaining green spaces on public roads and on municipal land.
