The City of Copenhagen hereby invites tenders for the cleaning of roadways, cycle paths, etc. in Vesterbro and Brønshøj/Husum.There will be a transfer of staff, but no equipment. From 2025, Danish local authorities will be able to establish zero-emission zones, in which access for vehicles will be restricted to zero-emission vehicles, including electric and hydrogen vehicles. It is expected that the City Council of Copenhagen will decide in autumn 2026 to establish a zero-emission zone in parts of Vesterbro, with the zone expected to come into force in 2028/2029.Tenderers should be aware that the establishment of a zero-emission zone during the contract period may affect the Supplier’s access to the contract areas and thus the performance of the contract.
