Abri has launched a new corporate strategy for 2026–2031, centred on a new "home and place standard" for all its 58,000 homes. This standard aims to exceed compliance by 2031, prioritizing customer experience, safety, environmental sustainability, and quality, while increasing, new home development. To support this new corporate strategy, Abri is seeking efficient, competent, experienced suppliers for the provision of Materials to ensure uninterrupted supply for maintenance and maintaining Abri’s properties for our customers, supporting our first time fix ethos, for planned and responsive work. It is intended that the tender will cover all properties in Abri’s portfolio with three determined lots as listed below, by material category, but not by geography, Abri’s entire geography is to be covered, with potential expansion also. Lotting structure: Suppliers have the ability to bid for multiple lots, but only one supplier will be awarded to each lot - The same supplier may win multiple lots – subject to confidence in delivery and enhanced due diligence: Lot 1 - Building Materials (maintenance & repairs) to include, but not limited to, items such as; general consumables, paving, decorating materials including paint, UPVC window and door consumables, kitchen spares, bathroom components and consumables, flooring, aids and adaptation parts, equipment hire including plant, etc. Estimated at £4.8m-£5.2m per year - programme and budget dependent (envisaged year 1-2 values). Lot 2 - Gas Parts (maintenance – to include heating & plumbing) to include, but not limited to, items such as; plumbing consumables, gas boilers & heat pumps (+ parts and spares), piping and valves, aids and adaptation parts, bathroom components and consumables, equipment hire including plant, etc. Estimated at £4m-£5m per year - programme and budget dependent (envisaged year 1-2 values). Lot 3 – Electrical Consumables to include, but not limited to, items such as; cabling, trunking, consumer units, wiring accessories, extraction fans, showers, aids and adaptation parts, equipment hire including plant, etc. Estimated at £3.5m-£5m per year - programme and budget dependent (envisaged year 1- 2 values). In addition to ongoing support services, ad-hoc improvements, new features and updates may be required from time to time, to be charged using agreed rates.
