Description

Within MijnGemeenteDichtbij, the Tax Department is responsible for the full implementation of municipal tax duties for the municipalities of Boxtel and Sint-Michielsgestel. This includes, amongst other things, the annual valuation of all immovable property under the Valuation of Immovable Property Act (WOZ Act), the imposition of municipal taxes and levies on residents and businesses, and the collection of these tax assessments. In addition, the department ensures the correct and timely fulfilment of all legal obligations associated with these tasks, including data exchange with partners in the chain and the facilitation of objection and appeal procedures.
