Norway – Machines and apparatus for testing and measuring – Framework agreement for the purchase of friction meters for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration

Description

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Division Operation and Maintenance (henceforth referred to as the Contracting Authority) requests tenders for the delivery of friction meters, which shall be divided between the contracting authority ́s locations in Norway. The aim of the procurement is to cover the contracting authority ́s need to get a better overview of the road ́s condition by using friction measurement. Such information can provide us with documentation of when maintenance measures ought to be initiated. In addition it is an important tool to be able to assess whether the measures have the correct effect and that established standards are followed.
