With regard to each lot, the contract covers pest control services on a ‘fixed-fee’ and ‘on-demand’ basis, comprising rodent control, cockroach control and mosquito control (larvicidal/adulticidal treatments), removal of rat and mouse carcasses, removal of animal carcasses, removal of droppings, removal of wasp, hornet and bee nests, control of crawling insects, pine processionary caterpillar control, flying insect control, and sanitary disinfection with the aim of eliminating insects or other groups of animals that may cause damage to infrastructure, food wastage or the spread of disease. Pursuant to Article 58 of the Code, the procedure is divided into the following two lots, the scope of which has been defined on the basis of distinct qualitative, functional and quantitative criteria set out below:
