Waste Transfer Station

Description

Lewisham Council (the “Council”) invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to submit a Tender for the provision of Waste Transfer Station services. This procurement is conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this Invitation to Tender (ITT) and the accompanying Contract Documentation. Unless otherwise stated, all terms and expressions used in these Instructions to Tenderers shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Conditions of Contract and the Service Specification. This contract will be procured through an open tender in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. The Contract will be governed by the Council’s standard Conditions of Contract, a copy of which is included within the tender documentation pack. The Contract Period applicable to each Lot is as follows: (a) Lot 1 – an initial term of two (2) years, with the option for the Council to extend the Contract for up to two further periods of one (1) year each; and (b) Lot 2 – an initial term of one (1) year, with the option for the Council to extend the Contract for one further period of one (1) year. Any extension shall be at the Council’s sole discretion and subject to satisfactory performance.
