Norway – Environmental monitoring for construction – Mapping bottom debris on coastal locations 2026-2030

Description

The objective of the assignment is to map the seabed along the Norwegian coast to identify accumulation and quantify the amount and type of garbage. The assignment involves the use of underwater equipment for collecting pictures of the seabed from 100 metre long trancts in defined areas close to all 13 beaches that have OSPAR monitoring for litter of beach. The estimated annual budget limit (assuming there are no changes to the budget awarded from the Ministry of Climate and Environment) is NOK 1,000,000, whilst the estimated contract value for all years including the options is NOK 7,500,000.
