The research group Bioactive Natural Products and Health Effects is the only group in Norway working within pharmacognosy and therefore serves as a national resource for research and knowledge related to natural products and their health effects. It is therefore essential to have functional, state-of-the-art instruments so that Norway can continue to maintain a research environment within this field. The group’s specific need is an instrument package consisting of three instruments that cover the entire analysis process from of natural products. These instruments are crucial to the group’s research activities, and the current instruments are heavily worn or out of operation because they are so old that replacement parts are no longer available.
