Description

Eliteform Manufacturing Ltd invite tenders for the supply of a heavy-duty 4-roll hydraulic plate rolling machine for industrial forming of mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel plates. The machine shall be capable of precision rolling of plates up to: • 4.0 mm mild steel • 3.0 mm stainless steel • Maximum working length: 4000 mm The machine shall be designed for continuous industrial production with high precision, repeatability, and long service life. Requirments; • The top and bottom rolls shall be: o Fully motorised o Driven through heavy-duty gearboxes and hydraulic motors • The side rolls shall be guided by a planetary guide movement system to ensure: o Accurate positioning o Uniform load distribution o Long bearing life • All rolls shall be mounted using double-crown spherical roller bearings in single-bearing configuration per roll. o Configurations using two separate single-crown bearings per roll are not acceptable, due to:  Higher mechanical stress  Reduced rigidity  Lower performance when rolling narrow plates • Roll movements shall be actuated by hydraulic cylinders in a parallel system configuration. • Each cylinder shall be controlled through independent hydraulic circuits to guarantee: o Accurate parallelism of rolls o Uniform pressure distribution o High rolling precision Performance Requirements • Maximum plate thickness: o 4.0 mm mild steel o 3.0 mm stainless steel • Maximum working length: 4000 mm • Maximum roll rotation speed: 6 metres per minute • The machine shall be capable of: o Pre-bending on both ends o Rolling cylindrical and conical sections o Producing uniform diameters across full length Crowning and Deflection Compensation • The machine shall be equipped with Dynamic Crowning system. • The system shall automatically: o Deflect the bottom roll upward to match top roll deflection o Clamp the plate across its entire working width • The crowning system shall: o Reduce or eliminate canoeing / barrel defects o Improve diameter consistency along the full length o Increase the effective rolling thickness range o Enhance rolling accuracy for both narrow and wide plates General Requirements • Machine shall be designed for: o Heavy industrial duty o Long service life o High dimensional accuracy • All components shall comply with relevant CE and machinery safety standards. • Supplier shall provide: o Full technical documentation o Machine layout and foundation drawings o Hydraulic and electrical schematics o Operator and maintenance manuals
