Description
The aim of this project is to strengthen JNCC's strategic approach to external stakeholder engagement by facilitating the completion of robust stakeholder mapping and developing a coordinated stakeholder management framework. The framework will enable JNCC to prioritise stakeholders and engagement efforts more effectively to support delivery of the Together for Nature strategy and improve consistency and impact across the organisation. The project will also support JNCC to articulate and evidence the productivity, efficiency and organisational benefits of improved stakeholder engagement, including guidance on capturing benefits against agreed success measures. To meet the overall aims of this project, the objectives are: • Develop a clear and agreed understanding of JNCC's stakeholder landscape • Facilitate discussions with a team of core staff representatives to support the identification and mapping of priority stakeholders and relationships. • Work with senior leadership to explore options and establish a coordinated and practical Stakeholder Engagement Framework tailored to JNCC's statutory role and strategic priorities. • Strengthen senior leadership ownership and oversight of external stakeholder engagement. • Improve consistency and clarity of engagement activities and promote a joined-up, business wide approach to stakeholder communications. • Map the benefits of improved stakeholder engagement activity to agreed success measures, including productivity, efficiency and impact. • Provide guidance on how productivity and efficiency benefits arising from stakeholder engagement can be captured and measured over time.
