The Norwegian Coastal Administration needs boat transport of pilots between Fonnes and Sløvåg quay. The objective of the procurement is to ensure a regular and reliable transport service that supports the pilot service ́s operative need. The service is an important part of maintaining high security and efficiency in sea transport along the coast. A stable and predictable losskys is decisive for ensuring the pilot service ́s continuity and presence. This contributes to reducing the risk of accidents and environmental damage at sea, and is, thus, a central part of the Norwegian Coastal Administration ́s social mission. Regularity and reliability in the transport between Fonnes and Sløvåg strengthen the predictability of sea transport, which is particularly important for the logistics of business and society's transport needs.
