Norway – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Report of reasons for construction cost growth

Description

The aim of the assignment is to gain more knowledge and insight into what drives the construction cost development in the housing sector over time. Existing sources provide some knowledge, but provide limited insight into causes. There is a particular need to map how much of the increase in construction costs can be attributed to public requirements and how much is attributable to other market conditions. There is also a need for knowledge on which requirements are of great importance for the construction costs and which are of less importance. Note delivery deadline with analyses and results for part 1 of the assignment and a status report with provisional findings and a plan for further procedure for part 2 is 15.09.2026. The delivery deadline for a total draft of the final report for parts 1 and 2 of the assignment is 01.11.2026. The final delivery deadline for the total final report for part 1 and part 2 of the assignment is 01.12.2026. The estimated budget for the assignment is NOK 2,000,000 excluding VAT.
