Description
The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU/the contracting authority) needs a new CNC machine for its model workshop. The machine shall be five-axet and have a maximum footprint of 4980mm x 8500mm. The CNC machine shall strengthen the knowledge and digital competence in the model workshop at NTNU. The aim is to produce precise and complex models and prototypes more efficiently, reproducible and of higher quality. The machine shall support both research projects and the practical training of students, and at the same time reflect current industrial standards and contribute to automating existing manual and partially automated processes in order to carry out complex parametric assignments as well as ensure and further develop future projects and multi-disciplinary activities in the model workshop. The procurement is a one-time procurement, accompanying service contract. An extension of the guarantee and service contract can be offered as options.
