Orchard Street Tunnel Artwork (Central Gateway Project)

Description

As part of the wider Central Gateway Project, Newcastle City Council is undertaking a 2 stage open call process to appoint an artist to design and paint artwork into the Orchard Street tunnel. The briefs will be shared Creative Central Newcastle artists networks and promoted across arts opportunity websites and portals to provide significant reach. The tender brief will be shared on platforms including: - Art Rabbit website - Arts Council - Arts Jobs website - Creative Central NCL website, and promoted social media channels - Creative Central NCL newsletter - Social media platforms such as Culture Vulture. The intention is for the artwork to enhance the public realm as part of the wider Central Gateway Project.
