The local authority aims to carry out outdoor cleaning operations – covering green and grey spaces – more effectively and efficiently, so as to further improve the city’s visual quality. To achieve this objective, we intend to deploy smart, mobile camera technology. This technology acts as a preliminary assessment by monitoring the city on a regular or variable basis and identifying work that has been carried out or is required. This includes, for example, various types of litter and other waste in public spaces (such as unauthorised dumping).
